Our First Christmas - Take 1!

The girls had an amazing Christmas - we all did! It was wonderful to be able to spend Christmas with my family in Cali, including my grandparents (the girls great-grandparents). The girls behaved very well for Christmas Eve Mass and looked adorable in their beatiful dresses!

I was so excited for Christmas morning - would the girls like opening presents? We continued the tradition of starting with our stockings, adding two little ones for the girls.

What the girls loved most was eating and shaking around the paper!!!

Eventually they'd get interested in whats underneath and pull the paper off. It was so cute to watch.

What's WAY more fun than gifts for us, is watching the girls with new toys.

It was sweet watching them play with toys together. They don't "share" per se, but they don't get to angry as toys pass back and forth.

About 2/3rds of the way through, you could tell the girls were getting exhausted from all the excitment.

So we took breaks on their gifts and let others open. I think Uncle James and Mark enjoyed watching the girls open presents too.

Of course we all racked up on the gifts, and most importantly food! What a wonderful Christmas!
