The Most Beautiful Girls in the World!

Well we made it! Matilda joined us first, weighing in at 4 pounds 5 ounces! She is super attentive and so little! 7 minutes later, Madelynn joined her sister at 5 pounds 2 ounces. She has a little more meat on her bones!

'We were able to hang out and hold them for a while before they were taken to the NICU. Because of Matilda's size, the difference between the two and that fact that Matilda was paler and Madelynn was more red, they needed to stay in the "Storks Nest" part of the NICU. We were really disappointed, but know that more observation was best for them - but not before some snuggling time!


After we got moved upstairs to the post partum room, Josh was able to roll me down to go visit the girls. We missed them already!
