To top off the 4th of July, we traveled to Fayetteville (about 3 hours) for one of my peer's wedding. The girls slept the whole way! When we got their, Matilda requested a chance to try that thing we call driving. We didn't actually let her put the car in drive, but she got to practice one of their new skills - grabbing things!
The girls wore the cutest white and yellow dresses that Aunt Martha had given them with matching bows. They were so adorable! Matilda has the yellow bow, Madelynn the white.
Caryn was so happy that they made the trip. She was a beautiful bride!

One of the things that makes taking the girls places challenging is that there is no alternating! Either we each have a girl, or one of us has both (which only works if they are both sleeping or in a great mood). You go down the buffet line with a baby in one hand and hope you can slide the plate down while packing the food on...

Don't worry, we'll give your arms a break when you're in town next week.
I was wondering if you'd like to have the girls and Ethan take some pictures together at JC Penney's. It's not expensive and I thought we could give one to Grandma and PaPa. If you like this idea, just let me know what color(s) the girls are going to wear and I'll bring a few outfits for Ethan to coordinate with them. I'm really not thinking anything huge, just a cute great-grandchildren picture.
